Fletcher Moss Botanical Gardens is a delightful little park within the village of Didsbury and boasts a beautiful alpine garden and also a bowling green, nature trail, café area, and both shale and grass tennis courts. In 2003 Fletcher Moss was the winner of the Green Flag Award the national standard for green spaces across England.
